At Dominick's they forbid the baristas from getting tips because it would make the cashiers jealous. If any of us, even the cashiers of the baggers get caught taking tips we are fired.

Really? I knew people who worked in Dominick's Starbucks locations, but I didn't know they weren't getting tipped.

I used to work for Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Corner Bakery Cafe, and some indie shops as well. I've got so many stories it's ridiculous. But when i heard about what happened at Applebees last week, I knew I HAD to do a comic about it. Thanks for checking it out

Oh, it's been the talk of the Applebees that I currently work at. I've never been much of a people person, so I'm just a cook. But word gets around that place fast! Those kinds of stories are the best. They make work more enjoyable, I feel : )Though it's a shame when someone loses their job over something like that.
